Konrad Mizzi: “My focus is on delivery.”

"Hello, please may I have some money for a new power station, because I'm really in a bit of a fix here as I need a new milestone schedule by the end of November."

“Hello, please may I have some money for a new power station, because I’m really in a bit of a fix here as I need a new milestone schedule by the end of November.”

That’s what he was quoted as saying, in the Department of Information’s Saturday evening emergency press statement.

Aside from the fact that any remark like that is bound to come over as a double entendre given the specific context, he has been focusing so hard that 20 months into his self-imposed 24-month deadline, the power station is still invisible. Not delayed, but invisible.

Even the investors seem to have vanished.

“My focus is on delivery.” Does he now work for Chris Fearne on the maternity ward?

This is unrelated but those armchairs look distinctly uncomfortable. Can the communications officer advise the minister to purchase new furniture for better decision making?

Before you know it he, may have tied the proverbial millstone, not reached the milestone. Getting the power station built on time would be a great climax.

It depends upon what the meaning of ‘is’ is. (Bill Clinton)

The power station is already there. Its just not visible to the naked eye because Con Rat has used glycerine to make everything disappear. The power station, the investors and his wife too.

What a sad person this Mizzi is. Just look at those rows of bottles where his life should be.
