Updated/Konrad Mizzi: the Streisand Effect

The pan-media coverage of Konrad Mizzi’s libel suit has generated a huge amount of interest in the story which provoked it. The publicity he created for the blog-post which upset him means it has since been viewed around 45,000 times and shared on Facebook 10,600 times.
Another blog-post I uploaded only this evening, about his haste and rashness in suing, has been shared 1,456 times already.

All I can say is “Kemm hu cuc Konrad. Kif dahal ghaliha.”
As the Maltese saying goes “Min jaqa fil-hara, iqum jinten”. It applies to Konrad very well.

They are competing with each other on who gets the headlines so that no one story stays in the news for long.
We were discussing Joe Mizzi and the transport saga, then Owen Bonnici comes along and now Konrad Mizzi.
I just pray that we won’t get so used to all this dirt that we reach a point of apathy and of deja’ vu. Or are we there already?
Labour governs with headlines. So we are there already. As long as they do not run out of headlines, they keep governing.

Can you explain this to me. If the Konrad is suing you for possible “unfounded” allegations about an extra marital affair, why should the magistrate ask for the work contract of his wife? What has bedroom business have to do with the work contract of his wife?

In this case, the defence can also ask for the contract signed by the government with Electrogas.
Konrot Mizzi told the media that such contract was signed – there is an interview with Ivan Camilleri in a Times report.
The defence can ask for this contract to show the court if Konrot Mizzi is credible or not. Not that the absence of a power station is not proof already of his lack of credibility.
And we paid for his divorce @ 13k a month.
A lot ‘voted’ to make their divorce possible. As things are going it seems they where the ones who needed it so badly.
Pity we are paying for it, in every sense.

With all these sex scandals it makes sense for the government to regularise brothels.
Actually one of the first brothels could be the Super One building, since it looks they are suppliers of mistresses for the ministers and co.
Actually if they dim the lights and line the glass at the Mile End with thick red drapes, they can turn their headquarters to one mother of all brothels and can have all kinds or orgies.
Might save them getting their wallets nicked in Albertown.
In a libel suit, must the person who sues, appear personally in court? is not Mrs Mizzi in China doing “government” work?
Of course: Sai Mizzi must appear in Court. In the same court with Konrot and Lindsey.

I understand Dr Busuttil when he says that he wants to bring back to the fold all those sheep that were lost, but I wish he would understand that some of those sheep were never sheep to start with. They were wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing who decimated the fold. Such beasts should never be allowed anywhere near the pen, let alone, inside it.
