Labour: burgling Malta since 1973/an update

The European Court of Human Rights has just ordered the government of Malta to pay a Maltese citizen Eur445,000 (plus expenses) in compensation for land which that government stole from him back in 1974 and on which it built a water reservoir.
The money must be paid to him within three months.
You wouldn’t know whether anyone’s fallen down a well today, and perhaps also felt a rat on his head for added colour?

Is this fair and correct – Government / Labour Party steal, while people pay, as a consequence?
It is the people that elect the government so they should use their vote right and not elect the government with a bad track record.
EXACTLY! The message that this gives is that it is OK to steal as someone else will pay for it – and that someone is us – all because the Labour government decided to be greedy.
What happens to those PL clubs situated on which were once (and still are) private property? Will we have to pay for them as well?
And Muscat tells the PN to stop trying to find ways to pay for the debt from people’s pockets when they are doing the exact same thing.
I think it is up to the owners concerned to start court proceedings to get back their stolen property.
MLP – Soldiers of steal.
The biggest one is yet to come. The Maltese will have to pay millions of euros to compensate the shareholders of the National Bank of Malta after they were robbed of the bank by Mintoff.
This should encourage those people who had their property appropriated and it is in the hands of the Labour Party.
Labour: their own past is coming back to haunt them.
Il-passat huwa garanzija tal-futur f’dan il-kas.
U d-dhul taghhom jista’ jitla kif ukoll jizdied.
Surely this must open Pandora’s box.
You bet ! How many passports must Muscat pay to match the fines?
You bet ! How many passports must Muscat sell to match the fines?
Once they lose government they are going to leave a hole so big not even Cyrus Engerer will be able to fill it.
Don’t know about the well , but hasn’t Alfred Sant been wearing a rat on his head for as long as I can remember ?
They have always been and still are the champions of the rights of others. Are they capable of a single project which does not involve rape and pillage?
But Sandro Chetcuti agrees so considering his standing on the greed to social conscience spectrum, that must be allright then.

The acts of Patrick Holland and associates are not forgotten.
The theft principle is the same.
Old age and death are not cleansers.
The PN needs to send at every home a booklet of all the properties that Labour stole from the people and using them to make money.
Too bad the PN is in dire straits.
Remember that “properties” also includes assets that are not buildings.
It can never be a booklet.
Send a donation at the upcoming fund raising telethon.
Every little helps.
Eur 445,000.
The sale of one more Maltese passport should do the trick.
It should however be the Labour Party that is made responsible for this fine, and any others resulting.
I know of those who refused compensation by the Nationalist Party in Government, for wrongs committed by the Labour Party in government, on that specific principle.
Do they expect us tax payers to shout “taghna lkoll!”?
About falling down wells and all that. A few days ago I popped into Allied Newspapers to place an ad.
Whilst waiting to be served I heard a dog bark somewhere in the vicinity. Then another. And another. Funny, I thought, it seems to be coming from within the building, like from some back yard or shaft.
When I walked out into the sunshine of Castille place, just as George Borg Olivier’s profile came into view a horrible thought crossed my mind.
Surely these guys aren’t keeping dogs to shove one down some dark pit now and again – to boost dwindling sales?
By the time I reached City Gate and was crossing over the bridge I had come to the conclusion that “Yes, it might just be the case”.
I contemplated flinging myself over the railings into the ditch but my son had asked me to get him some mqaret from the kiosk on my way home, so I didn’t.
The PN were in government for 25 years. Had action been taken then, they could have saved the country millions.
“People” do not want compensation from a Nationalist Party in Government: not from people’s taxes. They want compensation from those who took it from them. From Labour and its associates in the private sector that made full use of its services.
The benefit, was – after all – personal.
