What do you expect, when you give so much power to a man who habitually consorts with criminals

What a farce. How can justice be served when there is suspicion that the evidence has been tampered with? Sheehan will be quickly declared innocent and Muscat will gloat that he was right all along.

Leli mallia.( Jien kont maghkom tal barrani ). Lanqas temmen stqarrijja bhal din minn ministru. Xrid jghid biha, forsi li kien nazzjonalist?. Mux ta bxejn li ghanke laburisti jixtiequ lil mallia ghandu jwarrab, qabel ma jghamel xi froga ohra.

Times subeditors seem to be on perpetual holiday. It s JD Camilleri, not David, and PhiLip not PhiLLip Sciberras.

Facebook page in support of Paul Sheehan, just wait for it.

  5. J. camilleri says:

When answering a question from Francis Zammit Dimech, Fatso said, “I was never close to my driver. The first time I met him is when he was assigned to me”.

But then he was quite happy to leave his children in his care.

  6. Mila says:

Yet it was the victim who was arrested.

And we see a photo in Times of Malta showing the person to be charged with attempted murder leaning against the car he used as part of the attempt, talking to two persons in plain clothes, standing in the middle of the crime scene, with an unmarked car parked in the crime scene as well. The shooter is also walking around presumably wearing the shirt which contains the gun shot residue evidence. What a way to go.

Jaysus! The wheels of justice are rather slow in black-gowned juriprudential Malta, aren’t they?

Of course I fully expect an acquittal. Defence will argue that there was no intent to kill. No intent, no attempted murder. And Bob’s — sorry — Manuel’s your uncle.

  8. Gordon says:

its all for show. He will be defended by Manuel Mallia & Associates and the police will slip up along the way. So he’ll get away with something minor.

  9. queasy says:

I think it’s all about the blokka silg. It appears that the drug barons’ tentacles are all over the place.

Rentals of expensive properties, luxury cars by people without a visible income to support their lifestyles. Follow the money. Of special concern is the breakdown in police discipline and the cobwebs within the corps.

The law abiding citizens are very concerned about the existing situation. The people are worried and frightened. More to come.

  10. less worried says:

A man who is going to be charged with attempted murder after shooting in public was photographed using his mobile phone surrounded by police officers probably congratulating him for being really cool “qalla tal-ostja man… issa jerga jipprova imiss il-Mercedes tal-king!”

In any normal country he would have been photographed face down on the ground with a police officer’s knee pressing on his head and five other police officers pointing their gun at him warning him not to resist arrest.

But Malta Taghna Lkoll is not normal. It’s a parallel universe where everything is upside down and inside out.
