We are the little toenail of this, and considering the tiny land area and under half a million people, we have managed to pack a lot of it in.
We take far too much for granted. Correction. We TOOK far too much for granted. But this was there all the while, below the surface, waiting to come to the fore again. And now it has.

In a normal world the MLP would be pushing this song. In Muscat’s world this song pictures his amorality.
How to the point.
Why are some people still prepared to give Joseph Muscat any benefit of the doubt at all or opportunity upon opportunity to remain?
Because he’s all Labour’s got and Labour is their religion.
That’s true but one must also remember how Hitler and Mussolini ended up.
” A study conducted by the European Research Centre for Anti-Corruption and State Building and the Hertie School of Governance, The Good the Bad and the Ugly: Controlling Corruption in the European Union 2013, places Malta among the countries where corruption risks are lowest.”
I think somebody need to advise them otherwise:

There is a difference: in Italy they at least have Franco Battiato and others like him, in Malta we have Willie Mangion and others like him.
The real difference is that Italy still offers brilliant education, is a wealthy country (despite that its distribution has become very uneven), has history and culture galore behind it, it’s full of art. So, yes, things are rough at the moment, but that does not mean that Italy will sink.

Will minister Cardona now keep his word or does he have some other delaying tactic up his sleeve?
”Mr Cardona admitted his intervention but said that this was necessary as there were appointees who had a conflict of interest. He said that following the court case he would reveal who were these people.”

The Labour movement is nothing but a political bowel movement. It needs to run its course and only then will Malta relieve itself from this burden.
The good news is that it seems to be making its way towards the sewers of history quicker than initially thought.
A large chunk of the Maltese vote according to their passion. They do not vote according to what a party is good at.
Hence we are subjected to these absurd situations
