Government controlled by the criminal underworld: another pertinent comment

Posted this morning by Queen’s English:
Just look at the news on drugs. They are decriminalising possession of up to two grams of hard drugs. Half a gram of cocaine has a street value of Euro 50 – 60.
The fine for being caught with two grams of hard drugs is Euro 100. So all drug dealers have to do in this little island is deal in smaller quantities but more frequently.
This law could only have been thought of by a criminal and I am shocked that Owen Bonnici has proposed it and is promoting it. I’ve always known that he was an idiot ruled by his genitals but I did not know that he had criminal inclinations.

In the light of all that has been revealed in the last few days, it is time to reconsider why Smith asked for Mallia to defend him.

Yes, they have been trying to persuade the Minister but he is tied up with other considerations it and in any case what does Caritas know about social issues like drugs?
Not unless the matter touches upon ‘poverty’ and those on the brink of poverty.
Neither unless it touches upon the need for a ‘family wage’.
Time is showing that the report by the three retired judges should be scrapped because it is incomplete.
It is imperative to know what the prime minister knew about the shooting, who contacted him about it, and if he gave any instructions.
A prime minister doesn’t go to sleep if a minister’s driver has shot at somebody and the motive and context are not clear.
Joseph Muscat is a prime minister and he went to sleep knowing that a minister’s driver shot at somebody.
The motive and context are not important to him because he couldn’t be arsed to do anything if he can shed responsibility onto someone else, as he did that night with Kurt Farrugia.
Final Scene in a modern version of “Comedy (Tragedy) of Errors”:
Joseph Muscat (in stentorian voice and puffing his chest out):
“I am not afraid to take hard decisions. Therefore, esteemed siehbi Dr Mallia, I have bravely and fearlessly decided to let you decide whether to resign or stay.”
And he promptly ducks behind Silvio Scerri.

Two grams of pot is about two Texas joints or four pinners.
They are hardly being generous or free and easy here.
