“The fear of getting caught forces us to do things that are cause for regret. In the panic to hide the truth more mistakes are perpetrated.”
Toni Abela, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party and member of Muscat’s cabinet of government, writing in Illum three days ago

That could be interpreted as, “We were so panicked, we didn’t do a good enough job trying to cover it up.”
All the people I know who give more importance to not getting caught rather than to what is right are crooks and manipulators.
The fear of getting caught should, at the very least, make you not do the deed in the first place. But then criminal lawyers can always be trusted to come up with interesting twists to minimize the crime.
I have drawn up a map identifying key locations of the incident involving Mallia’s driver.
I wish someone could explain how Sheehan got to Triq Wied il-Kappara from Misrah Turu Colombo, where his mother supposedly lives. I very much doubt he was there at all when this incident began unfolding.

There isn’t one single honest individual in the whole Labour Party. All liars, scoundrels and corrupt manipulators.
He should have given this advice to his boss who would only admit on TV, in front of the whole nation, that SOMETIMES you have to say the truth in politics.
Shouldn’t he explain himself better and back his words with facts?
Mela mhux blokka silg kienet?
He must have drunk some Truth Serum.
Perhaps now is the time to ask him who he met in China, and what he discussed there. I’m sure he will tell us all the truth, and nothing but the truth.
This man Toni is a living dark chapter in Malta’s history.
