Is there anyone left in this country who thinks that the prime minister has any real beliefs other than power and money?

Compare what he read out three years ago (see video) to what he is doing now. And all Edgar Galea Curmi had done was ring the Police Commissioner to ask him something respectfully.

Well yes, there’s about 300,000 of them. Don’t make the mistake of assuming that everyone is as rational or upright as you.
36,000 was actually the tip of the iceberg.
Exactly. There are PN voters who think Muscat is a good man at heart.
They are right. It is his mind which is warped.
Lectures on democracy by a practitioner of hollow spin. You couldn’t make this up.
Whoever voted in this c*nt should cringe in shame.
F’din il-clip smajna li Muscat ma kellux fiducja fl-imhallef Manche. Allura dakinhar hu kien qed jattakka lil gudikatura hux hekk?
Eddy Privitera for starters…
Well actually that is what most of his job is all about money and power.
If we had wanted a prime minister who’s main concern was butterflies and daisies, we would have surely voted for Simon and Demarco. and maybe thrown in Engerer as bonus.
There’s no fool like an old fool.
Or one playing the part.
Loporto, donnok xbajt iddur il-latrini biz-zejt tar-rignu.
What is it that you require from this government Mr. Loporto to the point of saying you voted for Mallia when you probably voted for Arrigo?
The authority of the police headed by the Police Commissioner is separate from that of government headed by the prime minister.
The fact that the Office of the Prime Minister took over the public communication about the incident – which should have been dealt with by the police – shows that the prime minister took over the control over the line to be fed to the public and the media and that there was the intention of a cover up directly from the top of the government.
The prime minister must carry the political responsibility.
Reading a pre-written speech off paper I see. Even back then Joseph couldn’t speak from the heart.
That should have let warning bells ring in everyone’s mind, as it indicates that others wrote it.
Beyond the utter rubbish and shit read by the ex-Super One reporter and the Super One newscaster I was struck by the particularly imbecilic, idiotic, self-satisfied but apparently annoyed attitude of the stooges at each side of the main character in this scene.
What also strikes me is the absolute and abysmal difference between Dr Gonzi’s aid, Edgar Galea Curmi, and the miserable, cunning and scheming little twerp currently occupying the post of the prime minister’s head of communications.
“Fl-oppozizzjoni tghallimt inxewwex u fil-gvern tghallimt inkewwes.”
Makes a good name for a carnival float.
Not only did Joseph Muscat call for Mr Galea Curmi’s resignation but on the same occasion he declared that he had no confidence in Judge Manche.
Compare that with the present case. Recently, Muscat said that Simon Busuttil was undermining the judicial institution after Busuttil said that the three appointed judges (retired) will not find any wrongdoing on the part of the government.
