I am hoping that the media can follow the best story today.
And it can do so by knocking on Mallia’s door in front of Hastings Gardens.
We urgently need Mallia’s comments about the way he has been made singularly responsible for the Department of Information’s press release of 19 November.
We urgently need Muscat’s comments about why he was so unruffled about a policeman-cum-minister’s driver firing a gun in a public space that he went to bed instead of facing up to his responsibility.
That’s why the press needs to forget the 9 – 5 or 9 – 9 job hours.
News rooms need to be on the ball.
Reporters out there banging on doors.
Silvio Scerri’s Nexos is being awarded public contracts by direct order.
This is a fact and someone needs to tell it to the media and the people.
This has forced other lighting contractors to shed employees knowing full well that the situation for them is hopeless. How about a parliamentary question?
Direct orders are being dished out to the cronies like confetti during a local festa band march.
Silvio Scerri and Keith Schembri OWN the media, haven’t you realised yet?
They will follow him because the rift is all part of the act. If it was amicable it would prove circumstances made him resign, jump, walk whatever.
The government must disclose all the facts
I think you should also look into all the contracts given out by Lou Bondi and the FCN. We should be looking deeeeeep.
Should visitors to Valletta be warned to wear UV proof spectacles as a protection against photophthamia?
PL Christmas (all-year-round) pudding where ‘ta’ gewwa’ are invited to put their finger in the self-money-raising pie.
Nexos Lighting?
Mela ahjar jilbsu in-nuccali tax-xemx, ma jmorrux jispiccaw bir-retina mixwijja.
The new Labour government ‘tal-liberali u l-progressivi’ has made it clear, so far, that it wants to keep the media busy and the public entertained with its attitude ‘u ija mhux xorta’.
If the Opposition locks hard enough on this attitude the Labour administration can be made to bring itself down. In this, perception counts indeed.
Last time i looked it was called Republic Day. But i guess the small Maltese mind has to politicize everything. Ghadna lura biex niftahru li ahna Ewropej meta ghandna din il-mentalita partiggjana moqzieza li lanqas nifilhu niccelebraw vaganza nazzjonali bla ma nizbghawa hamra jew blu! VIVA MALTA REPUBLIKA….. Whoever’s opus the day happens to commemorate is not in the least bit relevant.
Some time ago from high up near university I used to look out and see a good part of Msida, the hospital and up to Santa Venera lit up at night and I could distinguish the places.
For some time now I have noticed that these have gone into pitch darkness. I have also noticed that there are frequent power cuts in different places.
Is this a way to make up for the cheaper bills? Who knows.
