Where were Codruta Cristian and the other two children that night?
The Police Minister and Codruta Cristian (mother of the police minister’s sons) stand as godparents to a baby born to a Romanian lapdancer and a sleazy operator called Darren Grima. Grima’s son was best friend to murdered cocaine dealer Mario Camilleri Jnr, whose father L-Imniehru, a major cocaine dealer who bribed Chief Justice Noel Arrigo and Judge Patrick Vella, was Manuel Mallia’s client.
I should have brought this up earlier, but now it becomes more pertinent in view of those published telephone call transcripts. Where was Codruta Cristian the night of the shooting? Where were the Police Minister’s other two children, twin sons who are even younger than his daughter Carmela?
If Codruta Cristian was at dinner at the Police Headquarters with the Police Minister, which is why their very young daughter was left with the minister’s driver, then where were their other two children?
If Codruta Cristian was not with the Police Minister, then where was she, why was that child left with the minister’s driver on a school-night (Wednesday) when she should have been in bed, and more pertinently, where were the other two children?
If the other two children were at home with Ms Cristian, then why was Carmela sent out with the driver?
Carmela Mallia is not Codruta Cristian’s biological child. Her biological children are the twin boys, who are younger. I mention it now because in this context it could be relevant. We are in a serious situation where every detail can be significant.
When parents of three children go out at night, they do not generally separate the children but leave them with one babysitter. They most certainly do not leave two with a babysitter and one with a driver.

The last paragraph of this blog does not reflect the reality of life in Romania, where I live and work.
I have seen even toddlers left alone during the day and at night.
Sometimes an older child is left in charge of younger siblings as well as the general housekeeping while the sole parent is working in Italy, Spain or Germany.
Quite often, even if a parent or both are at home, he, she or they are too drunk to take proper care of their children.
Children in their early teens are allowed to spend three or four nights a week in their boyfriend’s house or invite him to theirs for a few nights.
I must not generalise, as there are also many good families who take good care of their children.
So Janice Bartolo tries to portray Kurt Farrugia as having been duped into issuing the statement.
Does she really expect us to accept the Office of the Prime Minister as relying on the version given by Sheehan himself to the police commissioner?
Perhaps Owen Bonnici would do better to talk to her sometimes, and explain the intricacies of institutions and public perception.

Why believe anything Janice Bartolo says? She thinks it’s perfectly acceptable to shag the justice minister and then attend his press conference in the guise of a reporter.

On the days following the shooting, in Parliament, Manwel Mallia stressed the point that his wife was with him at the Police Headquarters at that point in time.
It’s presumed she was sitting next to her husband and so she too must have been informed that the Minister’s official car was shot at. Manwel Mallia said that, that was the first information he got.
Sounds really odd to me that Manwel Mallia and his wife stayed on at the dinner after getting such news.
Her presence and their apparent ‘nonchalance’ after the news of the shooting, raises more and more questions that I’m sure none of the enquiries will answer.
Another thing that comes to mind is this; if the minister did not know his driver so well and had only known him since he was assigned to him as his driver, how come he trusted him with the child?
If the minister is lying(surprise surprise) how come Paul Shehan is not offended after all the work he has done for him. Does he not feel betrayed with such comments?
Is he perhaps advised to keep quiet in return of some favours or others?
Concidering the anger management problem he has I can smell another rat.
Has anyone ever noticed any baby seats in GM14?

I do not know Mallia personally. I was given the impression he has a young daughter from Codruta Cristian.

If my child was embroiled in anything of the sort I would drop anything I was doing and go and get her personally right away, not that I would have ever left a child with an armed, Red Bull addict with dubious connections to say the least.
