    Cultural? Hardly.

  2. Denis says:

This website is read first thing in the morning by all goverment members and staff.

  3. Observer says:

To err is human. To correct one’s error – even to avoid being ridiculed any further – is gentlemanly.

I remember my mother, well over sixty years ago, shouting aloud:

“If you can count them, you say many”.

But then she was one of a mere handful of female students from Malta who passed their Senior Oxford examination in English Language in 1936.

I see the situation has not improved appreciably since then.

It seems that those who say they do not read this web site actually do.

“Hello, my name is Owen Bonnici and I read Daphne’s website.”

“There, there, now that was not so difficult, was it?”

  6. gakk says:

You bet this website has its uses. It has become a reference point – for everyone.

  9. Carl Savage says:

How much roads must a man walk down before you can give him a star.

But then what does Owen Bonnici know about art, culture and English?

  11. Sampei says:

Small wonder that King Carnival was an advert for Maltese “culture” with a timber balcony, echaugette (gardjola), a knight and Mattia Preti(?) together with a mention of V18 if the Minister of culture believes carnival to be amongst the top carnival festivities.

  12. Liberal says:

    Cultural. Priceless.
