The chairman of the Malta Council for Science and Technology is currently in training for his marine licence, which all boat-owners (and handlers) must have when they put out to sea, in the same way that you need a driver’s licence before you take your car out onto the road.
Come the sun, and he can take out whole parties of totally naff Taghna Lkollers to add to the rest clogging up Comino. Perhaps he plans to pay for his new boat with cash, as he does his supermarket bills.
He shouldn’t make the mistake of calling it the Lady Lara, though, because by the time it’s back up on the hard, he’ll probably have to rename it again.
