More like China Town with its own government and militia.

Well, thank God for that! Now Sai Mizzi can be closer to her husband. She still doesn’t have an official address in China, so she might as well relocate here.

They can also be persuaded to have some big garages to solve Willie’s problem.

Now wouldn’t it have been nice if someone in the know says whether submitting a plan is usually a requirement in the case of embassies?

Seems like there was a requirement but China got its way.

So how was the area of land to be devolved for the embassy complex established?

  5. J. Borg says:

I find it amazing that nobody seems to question WHY China might need such a massive embassy… and if this could possibly be in the national interest.

Seems like we are operating like China quicker than one would have thought possible.

Why would the name of two company directors and that of the company be protected when there is a conviction, i.e. they have been found guilty?

Company directors given suspended 12-month jail term after breaching OHS legislation

The prosecution was brought jointly by the Police and the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA), whose chairperson is Dr. Deo Debattista.

The investigation found that the safety features of the machinery had been bypassed subsequently an employee’s hand was trapped by moving pallets of an industrial dough-mixer machine. The employee suffered grievous injuries.

The directors got a suspended sentence and a fine of Eur1,500 each.

Who is being protected here? Is the chairperson mentioned here the MP? Should an MP be the chairperson of something such as the OHSA?
