Muscat is imagining he has statesman potential.
Ra wisq films dwar Obama.
Did our Prime Minister manage to make Ms Merkel smell the coffee? I bet he gave her his road map.
Poor Merkel, she could not sleep that night. She was sh*t scared of Joseph Muscat and his ultimatums.
While Libya is on the verge of becoming a failed state, Joe Mizzi gives an oil exploration licence to an Israeli oil company in an area disputed with Libya (Area5).
Just the right kind of provocation to wind up the Islamist faction in Libya against Malta and bring Middle Eastern tensions to our doorstep.
Great peace initiative, Joseph. Now go and tell Merkel how you are kindling the flames of international discord and expect Germany to intervene.
Don’t be silly.
The south route gas pipeline will have Iran and Israel in coordination.
How nice.
The office boy told the boss how to make the tea.
Coffee, please.
He’s our expert coffee grinder, remember.
I admit to admiring Merkel – where she came from, how she made it, etc etc, She must think Joseph Muscat is an absolute twit. One constant in what authors say about her is that she treats twits with the respect they deserve.
It is more offensive that Merkel is referred to as ‘Ms Merkel’ but Muscat as ‘Dr Muscat’. She has a doctorate degree in physics apart from several ‘honoris causa’.
I wouldn’t wonder were we to know that her answer was “You can put Libya up your ….. O,K Siehbi”
Actually in the article it says Nudge, which is totally different from giving a talking to.
Can you show us again the clip where Chancellor Merkel snubs and dismisses off Joseph Muscat? The expression on their faces, especially Joseph’s in the video clip is priceless.
And Ms Merkel said, ”Oh what a bright spark, now why didn’t I think of that?
Like she needs to take advice from a rapidly aging toddler.
Shouldn’t Malta’s Prime Minister be telling Merkel to keep Malta high on the agenda?
Why LIbya?
Shouldn’t Libya’s two Prime Ministers be doing that themselves?
After he back-stabbed the rest of the EU (with Merkel as its de facto figurehead) with the passports-for-sale debacle, does Muscat really expect Merkel to humour him in anything?
No wonder she obviously regards him with contempt. It’s obvious that she only speaks to him inasmuch as protocol mandates and no further; and that only because he follows her around, oblivious to her disdain, hoping to get a nice photo opportunity.
Pathetic.
