Joseph Muscat’s RTK mole is put on the state payroll at the government’s IT agency

A great place to plant a mole, wouldn’t you say? Sabrina Agius, the reporter sacked by the radio station RTK when the management found emails showing that she had been working as a mole for Joseph Muscat while he was Leader of the Opposition, has been given a permanent position at the government’s information technology agency, MITA.

MITA controls and administers all ‘dot gov dot mt’ email accounts and internet traffic in public zones like squares and so on.

It also maintains the servers of government offices, state corporations and agencies.

And that is quite apart from the fact that the gift of this job, any job, to a person who served Joseph Muscat as a mole when he was in Opposition is in itself abusive.

Agius has been made ‘copywriter and media coordinator’ at a state agency that does not routinely communicate with the media and has reason to do so only exceptionally.

This is the exchange of emails between Sabrina Agius and Joseph Muscat which led to her being sacked by her employees for spying and disloyalty:
