But then those who are younger won’t remember all that in the news, day after day, and most of the rest will have forgotten, if they ever knew, that IRA terrorists were trained in Gaddafi’s Libya which also supplied them with arms, many of the consignments being trafficked through Mintoff’s Malta, as were the contraband cigarettes which provided the IRA with an alternative source of revenue.
