Our head of state is ‘proud to meet ir-regina’

Does head of state Queen Elizabeth II have a Twitter cover picture showing her meeting head of state Marie Louise Coleiro Preca? Obviously not, and it’s not just because she doesn’t have a Twitter account.

This Twitter cover picture Mrs Preca is using is completely inappropriate. She is no longer a British subject meeting her queen or a fan from Florida who’s terribly in awe.

That was one head of state receiving another.

Why does everything have to be explained? It’s exhausting.

Malta’s head of state shouldn’t be tweeting using a picture of another head of state, even if she is in the picture too.
