Not exactly to the point but:

Now the question is: will Mr Schembri’s cousin, the highly influential businessman and political aide, help him?

Will Malta open diplomatic channels to negotiate an extradition treaty with Dubai?

Let’s see – but I won’t be surprised if the Republic of Malta will not feel any need to have an extradition agreement with Dubai at least till the next elections.

[Daphne – Extraditions are for crimes, not for civil debts.]

There’s no such thing as an ’empty space’ in Maltese culture. And like any vacuum, ’empty space’ serves only to suck in clutter and debris, be it:

    kamra zghira fil-kampanja
    kjosk tal-burgers fuq ir-ramel
    gazebo tal-injam fuq il-bejt
    plakka mal-hajt tal-knisja
    statwa f’ nofs il-pjazza

Were it music, there would be no rests between the notes, because you know, silence has to be filled in with something.

At the church where I hear mass, there seems to be fear of silence. Surely the place in which silence reigns should be a church. Not even a few moments after communion are we allowed to meditate in peace.

A church should be a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the world outside, or shouldn’t it?

Ajma Defni, fl-intrata mhux kulhadd iqieghed xi senduq indurat b’ xi zewg vazuni?

Jien smajt li anki Kenneth xtara wiehed biex ihossu “I’m In”.
