‘Christian’ scammers use Malta bank account held by John Dalli company

Wayne and Irene Negrini (see videos) are Americans who set up their own ‘church’ in Mettlach-Wehringer in Saarland, Germany, on the border with Belgium

Their ‘church’ includes a boutique hotel and spa with a sort of doctor – Michael Scholten – who gave John Dalli the certificates he used to stay away from Malta and evade criminal charges, citing psycho-social problems.

Dalli stayed at their church-hotel, called His Place.

He also visited it with Debbie Wicker, an American ‘Christian’ scammer who acts for Mary Swan aka Lady Bird and talks believers into parting with large amounts of money by wiring it to HSBC Bank (St Julian’s branch), to an account held in the name of Corporate Group Ltd/Client A/C.

Corporate Group Ltd (Company registration number C19033) is registered to 1400 Block 14 Portomaso, which is John Dalli’s address. The directors are his daughters Louisa Dalli and Claire Gauci Borda.

The people who are persuaded to part with their money – in many cases, their life-savings and retirement funds – are told that it is going to be invested on their behalf in gold-mining and similar, that their money is safe, that they will receive interest, and that the profits from the activities in which the money is invested will go towards charitable projects.

Lady Bird/Mary Swan was based in Malta for at least two years, operating out of a flat near Stella Maris Church in Sliema. I have been reliably informed by somebody who visited the flat that he was shown photographs of gold-mining activities, sacks of gold nuggets, school projects in Africa and so on.

I have reason to believe that this outfit used their Malta connections and time spent based in Malta to scam money off Maltese people too, using the same ‘gold-mining for charity’ spiel that they have used elsewhere.
