A little something for those who were not around at the time: photographs of Malta’s High Commissioner to the Court of St James, Norman Hamilton, and Malta’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, Ray Azzopardi, in their glory days as presenters of the Socialist Song Festival, Wardakanta, on state TV, Xandir Malta. The ‘warda’ in Wardakanta is the red rose that is the symbol of socialism.
