In six months, they lost $7 million on $67 million in fuel purchases made by “ministerial intervention” from one of the world’s most corrupt regimes: Azerbaijan.
Whatever they gave Konrad and Joseph in Baku (and maybe Keith and Kurt, too), it most certainly was not a clock.
And then Konrad Mizzi tells the Public Accounts Committee this evening that “it won’t happen again”. Ah, so that’s all right then. He’s still practising.
