Muscat’s plan for dramatic suspense has been scotched

He gave that Big Talking press conference on Monday, issuing stern warnings to any ‘politically exposed’ people in the Swiss Leaks data, threatening them with exposure and raising public expectations sky high (to detract attention from his own scandals).
And by the next day, The Malta Independent had scotched all that by reporting categorically – the newspaper has all the data, unlike the prime minister – that there are no present or former government ministers or members of parliament, beyond Michael Falzon and Ninu Zammit, whose cases were reported by the newspaper.
A lot of people will be disappointed, not least Muscat himself, but there you go.
