This comment came in this morning from Vince Borg, beneath one of my posts about the Café Premier scandal (l-iskandlu tal-Premier, to use Super One style language):

The 4.2 million deal is a win-win deal making a lot of lustful or envy people jealous because of the money involved and because of the wit behind the deal. Well done Mr. Prime Minster. I give you maximum points for this, because you respected the owners, the good will arising from the history and the size and location of the property. All details point towards a Maltese Cultural investment for all and at the same time you gave the envy minorities an opportunity to rant and sob. The sounds they make is a latent unwitty promotional outcome. Well done. A great win-win project.
