A dead child, carried to shore in Rhodes this morning

Coastal villagers in Rhodes this morning were first on the scene when a boat bringing refugees from Syria capsized close to the shore. They went into the water to help bring people ashore. Ninety survived, 30 of whom had to go to hospital, and three did not – a man, a woman and a small child.
