Party of European Socialists tweets fabulous picture of Maltese prime minister

Joseph Muscat is away with the Party of European Socialists, which is why he wasn’t posturing at the PR circus that was the funeral for drowned migrants this morning.

The Party of European Socialists has just tweeted this gorgeous photograph. The prime minister and the spouse of the prime minister seem to be going out of their way to look 10 to 15 years older than their real age, which is 41.

And speaking of the Spouse, would that be her in the photograph background? It certainly looks like her, with the telltale giveaway giant handbag. So now she’s ‘trefflink’ with him to PES meetings.
