Prime Minister’s special envoy to the World Tourism Organisation calls Air Malta customer care to find out what time flight is arriving – then goes wild

I see that old age has not tempered Joe Grima’s bullying temperament and aggression, particularly towards those he considers minions.

Look at this, straight from his Facebook page. The decrepit special envoy (who gets through airports in a wheelchair piloted by airport staff because he is far too obese to walk) actually rang Air Malta’s customer care helpline to find out what time a flight from Venice lands.

He is the prime minister’s special envoy on tourism and he doesn’t know that the airport website lists all arrivals and departures.

He also confuses Air Malta’s customer care helpline with a flight information service for lazy and stupid time-wasters who can’t be fagged to use the internet after they fail to check what time their own friends are arriving.

And what a bully, honestly – look at the way he went after that poor employee, as though it was done to him on purpose (and even so). He and his consort Lynn Zahra, currently engaging in persecuting and bullying a police officer who is still recovering from a serious illness, have a lot in common.

You also just have to love the comment from Joe Grima’s Facebook friend, who says to him completely with irony that this is what you expect when people are given jobs as favours or because they know somebody. She was speaking about the Air Malta employee, of course, and not about Joe Grima.
