SEARCH-FOR-SAI CAMPAIGN: THE HUNT IS ON
This afternoon on Radio 101, during his drive-time show, David Thake begins his SEARCH-FOR-SAI campaign. Telephone calls to Shanghai’s Info Line have so far yielded no results for the Maltese Consulate.
Everyone who’s rung the enquiries line in the last couple of days has been referred to the Maltese embassy in Beijing.
Yesterday a member of my international worldwide network of spies, this time in Shanghai, visited the official address given for Sai Mizzi, named as the Maltese consul, on Shanghai’s official consular list, and was told “The place is empty. Nobody ever comes here. I think they are in Beijing.”
Meanwhile, that woman is grabbing the euros for doing nothing at all while her office lies empty and Malta gets a bad reputation by having a consul listed in Shanghai who is never there and has no phone.
You know what? It’s becoming increasingly obvious that Mrs Konrad Mizzi has been paid off. That’s why all the hyper-secrecy, the lies and the refusal to give out any contact details for somebody who should be available to anybody who wants to make enquiries.
No, I don’t think it’s alimony at the expense of the public purse. I think it’s worse than that: they’re paying her to keep quiet.
The SEARCH FOR SAI is on.
