European Commissioner Karmenu ‘Il-Guy’ Vella, his wife, his son (wearing a tight black T-shirt emblazoned with the legend TOO BUSY TO FCUK), his daughter-in-law Labour MEP Miriam Dalli and his grandson, flew back to Brussels last Sunday after voting in the referendum on spring hunting.
Miriam Dalli sat in business class. Her husband and their young son sat with his parents, the European Commissioner and Mrs Karmenu Vella, in the first row of economy class, separated from Ms Dalli by the curtain-divider.
