The Labour Party should have removed him until his case is concluded

Joseph Falzon, who heads the Labour Party’s electoral organisation, was arraigned in court last month and charged with unlawful possession of another person’s voting document.
Today, he was the electoral counting-hall, working for the Labour Party in the exact same capacity (see picture).
