The prime minister’s special envoy to the World Tourism Organisation has it in for immigrants and the head of state

What a stupid, vulgar, aggressive old man – another one who is wholly unfit for purpose (a meritocratic Taghna Lkoll appointment) and who doesn’t understand that holding public office makes it incumbent on him to watch what he says and does.

Instead, these appointees are doubly abusive. They inveigle their way into their posts by abusive and corrupt means (‘position of trust’) and then to top it all, they see the way they obtained their posts as giving them security of tenure and immunity from reprimand and dismissal, which means carte blanche to behave as badly as they please.
