Air Malta celebrates 450th anniversary of ‘the Great Siege’ by selling Air Malta to the Turks

This is the kind of thing that really appeals to me. Maybe my sense of humour is a little off-beat.
So the government is gearing up for a big celebration to mark the 450th anniversary of “Malta’s victory over the Turks” (well, we have to keep our national festivities consultant busy on 54,000 euros a year) while entering into negotiations to sell Air Malta to…the Turks.
Lara Boffa’s Turk-hating boyfriend is going to have a problem with that. But then he has so many problems, what’s one more?
