Michael Farrugia overtaking Cirkewwa queue on Labour Day 2015

Family Minister Michael Farrugia and his girlfriend Amanda Mifsud – who when Labour was elected to government was first given a ‘position of trust’ at Malta Freeport and has now been given a ‘position of trust’ at Identity Malta – yesterday barged a mile-long queue at Cirkewwa aided and abetted by the police.

They were in the minister’s official government car with GM plates even though yesterday was Labour Day and a public holiday.

This photograph shows the minister’s car on the wrong side of the two-lane road to Cirkewwa, behind a line of cars also on the wrong side of the road and blocking oncoming traffic.

The police arrived soon after this picture was taken, ordered all the cars on the wrong side of the road to reverse back into position on the correct lane, but allowed the minister and his girlfriend to skip the queue by driving on the wrong side of the road all the way down the line.
