Family Minister’s girlfriend, Amanda Mifsud, given job at Identity Malta
Amanda Mifsud, the Family Minister’s long-time girlfriend, has been given a ‘position of trust’ at Identity Malta, the organisation set up to oversee identity cards, personal information and passport/citizenship applications.
This is Miss Mifsud’s second go at the trough. When the Labour Party came to power in March 2013 and her boyfriend Michael Farrugia was made parliamentary secretary for, among other things, the Malta Environment and Planning Authority, she was put on the payroll at Malta Freeport.
Amanda Mifsud is a sister to the hairdresser with a salon in Hal Ghaxaq, who was photographed arriving alone with Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando at the pastizzi bar in Rabat on an August night at around 5am, when he became involved in a drunken brawl, and being driven off by her in her car after the brawl. That was a few days after the first anniversary of his marriage to Carmen Ciantar.
