Good grief

How can somebody like this be taken seriously as a mayor?

Oh that’s right, I’d forgotten. She doesn’t need to be taken seriously because she’s on the Labour ticket. Labour women are meant to act stupid and tacky or, even better, actually be stupid and tacky.

Meanwhile, I’m trying to work out how and why, if the mayor is in her 20s as she claims to be, her mother is 70+.

If the mayor is my children’s age, shouldn’t her mother be my contemporary? I’m confused.

The mayor must have been what they call an ‘unexpected blessing’. No wonder she’s so insufferable.
