Government of liars and Middle Eastern bandits: Citizen journalism gets more results sometimes than the real thing
Antoine Vella, a regular reader of this website, a committed environmentalist, and a former member of the academic staff at the University of Malta (now retired), has just done what all we journalists – and the Opposition – should have done days ago.

I have just called the Communications Office at DePaul University (001-312-362-8592).
The lady who took my call was very emphatic that they are not setting up a campus here in Malta, and will not be involved at all with the running of the new ‘American university’.
All DePaul University did was provide the curricula and now it will have no further involvement. DePaul University will have nothing to do with academic standards, lecturing, degrees and so on at this proposed university.
