RSM (Malta), the financial services firm to whose address Sadeen Education Investment Ltd and Sadeen Rehabilitation Services (Malta) Ltd are registered, is the Labour Party’s auditor.

When the Labour Party published its accounts in April 2013, shortly after winning the general election, those accounts were audited by RSM (Malta).

That same month, RSM (Malta)’s founder and managing partner, Thaddeo (known as Deo) Scerri was appointed by the government to the board of Bank of Valletta.

I had written about it at the time. A screen of my post of two years ago is reproduced here and the link is below.

This means that Hani Hasan Naji Salah, the Jordanian hotel developer who signed a contract with the government last Tuesday, and who is the sole shareholder – in his personal name – in these two companies, is a client of the Labour Party’s auditors and of the government’s appointee to the board of Bank of Valletta.

Thaddeo (Deo) Scerri, the government's appointee to the Bank of Valletta board and founding/managing partner of RSM (Malta), to whose address Hani Hasan Naji Salah's Malta companies have been registered since last June. RSM (Malta) is also the Labour Party's auditor.
