The Education Minister, Maria l-Maws, went to the University of Malta yesterday to preach at students and told that despite the government’s plans to build a “university in the south”, it will not “forget the University of Malta because charity begins at home”.
What a prat. Ta’ min igaralu xeba tadam imhassar.
So now the “university of the south” is a government project and not a business college promoted, built and owned by one Jordanian man (not a “group”) for fee-paying students from North Africa and the Gulf states.
