This is the board of directors of Crystal Finance, which sponsors the Institute of Maltese Journalists. Both John Dalli (disgraced EU Commissioner) and Alfred Mifsud (newly appointed deputy governor of the Central Bank of Malta) are represented on the board by their children.
Claire Gauci Borda, who should be the subject of a committed investigation by all the Maltese media – and not just The Malta Independent and this website – for her involvement in scamming US investors of their money and her role in Tyre Ltd and Corporate Group Ltd, the companies involved in the scam, is instead coolly sitting on the board of the company which sponsors the Institute of Maltese Journalists.
Isn’t that fitting?
