The Malta Independent has a pointed leading article today on the subject of the government’s comparison of its plans to give a Jordanian millionaire a huge tract of ODZ land so that he can develop it for a private business, with the Nationalist government’s construction of a sewage treatment plant, also on ODZ land, which has improved life, health and the marine environment beyond compare.
The government, The Malta Independent says, is “talking effluent”.
