Why was the American ambassador there and not the Jordanian ambassador?

Hani Hasan Naji Al Salah – the ONLY investor in the ‘university project’ (all the shares in Sadeen Education Investment Ltd are held in his personal name) – is Jordanian.

The money he is going to use for this project will come from Jordan, or at a push, Saudi Arabia.

This is 100% a Jordanian thing.

So exactly why was the US ambassador the only ambassador at the signing ceremony at the prime minister’s office, and given such prominent coverage?

It should have been the Jordanian ambassador.

Deceitful window-dressing – and more fool she for having gone along with it. She comes across as being totally star-struck and very keen to be ‘in’. Not a great service to her country.
