The audience is full of Laburisti rooting for Mizzi and howling at her. But she isn’t bothered.
Mizzi keeps breaking into English – taf inti, ghax issa mittilkless u dawk jitkellmu bl-Ingliz. He also shows how liberal and progressive the Labour Party is, by repeatedly ridiculing her for being “an actress” and saying things like “the stage is hers because she has had training in acting”.
He’s totally wound up by her – he gets more and more excited and hysterical, and she stays super-cool.
