Reno Calleja is achieving his dream of seeing Malta become an outpost of China

Reno Calleja, a former prominent politician of the Malta Labour Party, long-time promoter of the Malta-China Friendship Society, and fixer of Maltese visas for Chinese people, was at lunch last Saturday at Il-Kartell in Marsalforn, with a party of eight Chinese men and Lynn Zahra, who lives with Joe Grima, the prime minister’s special envoy to the World Tourism Organisation.
