Back in November, Times of Malta reported on a briefing paper prepared by the government’s Privatisation Unit at the request of Labour MP Silvio Parnis, King of Coffee Mornings and Xalati and also chairman of the Consultative Council for the South.
Sandro Chetcuti, chairman of the Malta Developers Association, is a member of the Consultative Council for the South.
The briefing paper proposes three hotels for that stretch of coast, including “an iconic hotel” that will “symbolise a truly romantic Mediterranean backdrop” at the furthermost tip of Zonqor Point, in the area marked in red.
