The government is cost-cutting by not flying the EU flag outside Parliament House

The Maltese flag looks so very lonely next to its (empty) sister flag-pole.
This must be a cost-cutting measure – surely it is not a political statement – with the government saving money by not buying another EU flag, so that it can save up to pay Cyrus Engerer.
