Villa Isis, the Middle-Eastern-style villa in Madliena which featured prominently in Paceville boss Hugo Chetcuti’s fantasy world, and which he sold for a rumoured €7 million to people from the Gulf, has been renamed.

People who live in the area tell me that there are now private guards at the front and rear of the building, but they have no idea who lives inside. “They are supposed to be Qatari diplomats,” one neighbour said, “but there is no flag to indicate this.”
