Edward Zammit Lewis, the Tourism Minister, has flown off to Beijing with Air Malta chairman Maria Micallef, to hawk Air Malta to China.
And that amazing special investment envoy who costs the public purse 13,000 euros a month (let’s not enter into the merits of how much her estranged husband costs the public purse with his wonderful decisions and fabulous deals) isn’t with them.
Yes, Malta’s investment-seeking envoy to China is on holiday in Malta while Malta’s tourism minister is in China seeking to sell Air Malta.
Oh, and another thing. Mrs Mizzi was on the front page of every newspaper published in Malta yesterday – except L-Orizzont.
That’s more than a detail, but the devil is definitely in it.
