This government is going mad. Now it wants to hack us.

And for that purpose, it has gone to a company used by some of the world’s worst repressive regimes, including Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

The information only emerged because this company has itself been the target of successful sabotage. Saboteurs hacked into its system and retrieved emails and invoices which reveal who its clients are and who has been making enquiries.

The large number of documents include email exchanges with Malta’s Security Services, made a couple of months ago, in which the Security Services enquire about the cost and use of their hacking system.
