Malta Today is currently running a big headline saying that the judicial inquiry report into Daniel Zammit’s activities REVEALS that he held a birthday party at Hugo Chetcuti’s Villa Isis in Madliena.

I really have to hold my tongue here.

It was this website, the one they deride and vilify as the ‘gossip blog’ run by the ‘bile blogger’ which revealed the news on 5 July.

I’ll stick my neck out here and say that it was probably through this website that Judge Michael Mallia found out about it and asked them. I hardly think they volunteered the information themselves.

If I were feeling more combative tonight I’d tell those people at Malta Today where to stuff it. But their ridiculous spite just speaks for itself.

Thanks to the Bile Blogger, the prime minister has been forced to order a judicial inquiry into the activities of a corrupt police inspector. Yes, thanks to the Bile Blogger and not thanks to Malta Today.

And another thing: Villa Isis sold for €7.5 million, not €6 million, as they report.
