You just can’t imagine this happening in Malta

When you expose the fact that the Minister for the Economy is living rent-free in a luxury flat loaned to him by a businessman/drinking-buddy who cosily lives in the flat next door, the Minister screams “personal attack!”

He thinks this is about his marriage – who cares if he’s just another middle-aged man who can’t keep it in his pants after teenage years of Tal-Muzew deprivation? – and pretends not understand that it’s about his very close relationship with the Tumas Group’s Silvan Fenech.

Oh, and about the fact that a cabinet minister should not make a seedy bar, the haunt of criminals and heavies, his second home and second office.
