It really is a plague, and there has got to be an explanation for it. Perhaps I should ring up a couple of psychiatrists and research a column or blog-post. I think I’ll need to speak to a couple of anthropologists too, because no doubt the nature of our society has a lot to do with it.

This is the president of the Malta Developers Association. He is around 50, has been married for decades, and his children are now adults.

Yet he has the sentiments of a white-trash teenage girl who dropped out of school with no ‘O’-levels and now tries to make sense of the universe by raiding Facebook for memes about human emotions, trivialising them in the process.
